Spotify: The Queen of Music Streaming

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times, Spotify is the superior music streaming service. I used to live by Pandora and never considered leaving it. Having stations based on a single song and letting Pandora choose related songs for me, was the ideal service I needed. Little did I know, there was another music app that did just that and SO much more. I was first interested in using Spotify because I enjoyed the fact that you could look up individual songs, something you could not do on Pandora. However, that feature was limited to me because I was not a premium account member. At first, I had no interest in spending $10 a month just to listen to specific songs but then, a friend of mine informed me that Spotify offers a discount to college students. It’s only $5 a month when you use your school I.D! Five dollars to be able to listen to whatever song you wish, create as many playlists as you want, and Spotify creates playlists for you! Gone are the days where you can’t figure out what you want to listen to because Spotify’s got your back. Another, amazing feature is the ability to save your songs. You simply click the heart in the corner of your screen and it is locked in forever. Spotify has made parties, friend hangouts, and long drives so much more enjoyable for me. I hope you fall in love with it as much as I have.

Oh! I almost forgot. You can follow your friends on Spotify as well and see what cool playlists they have created as well!

Give me a follow! @allytesso

Why I Switched to iPhone and Never Looked Back

For the longest time I owned an Android. It worked decently, was easy to navigate, and was cheap. I found no reason to want any other kind of phone. Until I found myself feeling left out of little things in my friend group. All of my friends owned an iPhone and always seemed so happy to have one. I constantly had to listen to them reminisce about conversations they had on FaceTime, what funny gifs they sent in their iMessage group chats, or how they couldn’t wait to take high quality photos at the beach this summer. My Android didn’t have FaceTime, a Gif keyboard, or a good quality camera. In fact, my Snapchat stories were always full of pixels which made it resemble security camera footage. I was tired of missing out, so I made the change from Android to iPhone and never thought twice about it again.

My new iPhone XR has a 12 megapixel camera, I can group FaceTime with all of my friends, and I send as many gifs as I want. Not only that, but I can also unlock my phone just by looking at it! The Face ID feature is so quick and easy just like my favorite feature, the Find Your Friends App. With this app, I can see where my friends are at all times. The fact that I never have to wonder whether or not my loved ones are safe, is priceless.

Make sure the people you care about are safe too and get yourself an iPhone!

My friends and I, last Easter. Taken on the iPhone XR!
